CHRIS' PHOTO JOURNAL

14 June, 2008

It was the middle of June before I could find time to get into the alpine.
Long meadow was still buried in snow.

and North Pass Lake was still partially frozen

But the tundra was running with water

The Mammaries faced the wind and the sun so had lots of bare ground

And near the top some brave Payson's Draba was blooming.
