The Mammaries, 24 June, 2008


The dogs were trying out their new packs.
They were stuffed with empty dogfood bags to give them bulk.

Badger does not mind his pack at all.
But Nahanni is a real prima donna and when she sees it she sulks.


Here they are on the North Nipple.


But the weather was stormy and the wind was bitter. The top two lakes were still mostly frozen.


Quite a few flowers were blooming, however. And I have finally discovered (after owning it for two years) that my camera has a macro feature!
