CHRIS' PHOTO JOURNAL

The Mammaries, 4 July, 2008

Things were happening in Long Meadow.

Above are Mt Marsh Marigolds and Mt Meadow Buttercups.

Below are Globeflowers.

Also emerging were the amazingly lush False Hellebore

And nearby, on a gravelly knoll, some Red Heather.

It was still bitterly cold on the North Ridge.

n

But it was amazing how the flowers were blooming.
Jacob's Ladder

Villous Cinquefoil

An early Moss Campion

And an abundance of Eight-petalled Avens

What an amazing world we live in!
