CHRIS' PHOTO JOURNAL

Boundary Lake 15th July 08, Sunrise 16th July

At cabin level, the wet meadows are coming into their own.

In the forest, the Heart-leaved Arnicas are blooming

Along the way, Labrador Tea has almost finished.

But the Diverse-leaved Cinquefoil is still in full bloom.

Boundary Lake was sunny and breezy

Some Wandering Fleabanes were already open

And Buckbean leaves made a nice foreground for the view.

The following morning we watched a perfect sunrise.

First light appears around 5.00 AM so it is necessary to get into the canoes a bit earlier.

As always, Nahanni has to get into the picture.
