26th-30th July 08 - Success Lakes, Part 2
The following morning was almost sunny, and I was up early to explore the creek.
The hiking was almost "normal" and the flowers were stunning.
And a few metres upstream, looking the other way.....
A close-up of a River Beauty. They were a very strong colour up here.
Higher up the stream split into several branches
It was a veritable garden of delights.
This is looking back towards our lake.
Pandemonium Pass is just to the left of the conical peak in the background.
I was getting closer and closer to the glacier.
