11th August 08 - Wilderness Lake Area
Alex and Eric went to the Wilderness Lake area.
(I was leading day hikes from Nuk Tessli: photos for this journal are by Eric and Alex)
A day's rain had cleared the air of smoke.
They did not climb Wilderness Mountain (on the left) but headed for the un-named peak behind Alex's head.
On the way, they did some bouldering for fun.
As they got higher, they had wonderful views.
Wilderness Mountain looks easy from this angle.
To the west, the coastal valleys plunge steeply.
Alex is always eating!
And she can never resist to jump.
