
The week had been cold and rainy and there was fresh snow on the mountains.

I made this trip with wwoofers who were building cairns on the last part of the trail.

The afternoon was chilly but the cloud shadows made for strong colours in Incompetence Valley.

We made camp just below the waterfall.
You can just see the tents along the shore in the middle of the picture.
The waterfall is above them and that is Anvil Mountain behind.

In the evening a few rainshowers moved over the Chilcotin Plateau.

We had a campfire but it was pretty cold!
