
Because I had more time, my main focus on this trip was the small glaciated lake above the falls.

Most of the flowers were gone, but a few stragglers remained.

Most of the time I photographed seedheads:
Alpine Pussytoes.
Lance-leaved Stonecrop.

All the while I kept an eye on the summit of Anvil Mountain.

The first wwoofer to climb to the top is standing on the middle peak.

But then I lost track of the wwoofers in pursuit of plants.

And was fortunate to find a rare (for this year) and very photogenic clump of Paintbrush.
