CHRIS' PHOTO JOURNAL

10th to 12th September 08 - Wilderness Lake, Part 3

At the edge of the treeline, Jobin Creek runs into a turquoise lake.

To the left of the dark mountain in the centre you can just see Mount Waddington.

Nearby, a few ragged Purple Mountain Daisies still flourished.

On the way back to camp there were many small, crystal clear ponds.

Some still had snow in them.

Finally I could see Wilderness Lake.
Our camp was at the far end.

Now we are back on Dry Lake

With the memories of a spectacular day.
