Wilderness Lake
11 - 13 July, 2009 - Part 1
Climbing up through the forest it was very hot and windless.
There was very little cloud, but smoke from distant forest fires made quite a haze.
Among the trees, Mountain Arnica were making a great show.
Badger jumped in the water at every opportunity.
Higher up, the dogs were able to cool off on the snowbanks.
It was Harry's first camping trip.
The Lupins were just coming into their own.
And the Heathers were absolutely stunning.
It was also a very good year for Mountain Meadow Buttercups.
