Waterfall
25 July 2009, Part 1


It was another extremely hot and windless day.


We saw a number of Spotted Frogs on the way.


Above North Pass Lake we climbed straight up through gorgeous flower meadows.

 


Below us, North Pass Lake was motionless.


Mountain Arnica were starting to bloom.


Over the ridge, we had a good view of Anvil Mountain.
(The waterfall is half hidden in the distance on the right.)


To cross Incompetence Valley, we had to skirt one of the lakes.


We reached the bottom of the waterfall for lunch.
