CHRIS' PHOTO JOURNAL

The Mammaries
5th July, 2010

It has been a very cold spring. July 5th was the first hot day.
In Long Meadow, the Globe Flowers and the Mountain Marsh Marigolds were splendid.

Flightseeing to Nuk Tessli

A few Mountain Meadow Buttercups shone like golden suns.

Higher up, the Mammary Lakes still had slabs of ice on them.

Which made for some very arctic-looking landscapes

Nearby was a pair of White-tailed Ptarmagin

Little was blooming on the Mammaries with the exception of the Alpine Cinquefoil.

There was a splendid clump right on top of the North Nipple.

Unknown Mountains

From there, I had a good view of Mt Waddington.

Most of them are nameless
