
The morning sky was clear in the east.

There was another nippy frost.

I kept the fire going until the sun hit the mountain behind the falls.


Then I had to go and take pictures all over again.

There were quite a few Mountain Fireweeds at the bottom of the falls.

And the Valerian was all in seed.
They remind me of sea anemones.

Soon it clouded over again.

I went home by way of Incompetance Creek and found a few Mountain Fireweed there, too;
one clump had some ragged Mountain Arnica mixed in.

I found it quite chilly, but Badger took every opportunity to have a swim.
